Mom & Me and Toddler¡¯s Group
An informal
and friendly Moms and babies. This social support is welcome at crucial times when living far away from extended family. While the Moms chat and share advice, babies get
a chance to interact with people their own size!
Preschool
Located at the
Jewish Center in a newly renovated room, the activities include
art, music, language, math readiness, science, computers, dramatic
play and of course, Jewish holidays.
From the age of two, Jewish children in Shanghai can join together
and celebrate ¡®growing up¡¯ in a fun, happy and secure Jewish
environment. Our preschool curriculum is designed to enrich the
children¡¯s appreciation of our world and our beautiful Jewish
heritage in a fun and meaningful way

Holidays ~ Yamim Tovim
Every Jewish
festival is celebrated as a family. Whether it is a formal
Passover seder, or a grand Purim bash, a Chanukah extravaganza or
a Rosh Hashana dinner, we gather to celebrate together.
Judaism holds
the ¡°family unit¡± in very high regard. Here this is compounded by
the fact that all of us are far away from immediate family. Thus,
our ¡®extended family¡¯ in Shanghai is all the more meaningful over
the Jewish holidays

Adult Education
From Beginners
Basics to Jewish Philosophy and Mysticism, we offer a variety of
intellectual classes and lectures on topics of Jewish interest.
Group courses run on a weekly and monthly basis; individual
classes offered daily.
Adult educational classes offer the opportunity to study with
others in an intellectual environment and afford a wonderful
opportunity to increase in Judaic knowledge.
Everyone is welcome to call the Center to receive a schedule of
classes, or to organize a new discussion on a specific topic.
