News from the Shanghai Gan

It was such a delight to come back to school after the break.  Everyone seems so much more refreshed and the warmer weather has brought smiles to everyone’s faces, the children are all enjoying being able to go outside, have picnics on the roof and having fun at the big playground.

But…….. here we go again! I have a school full of animals that have taken over from our plague of insects!  Yes our new theme is Animals, domestic and wild depending on the class room you decide to visit.  Morah Tameren has found that her boys know quite a lot about African animals but at least she can say the big words like hippopotamus a bit quicker then they can, but it appears that they know so much more!  Bagels, Tots and Pre School are all concentrating on farm animals, with the most popular song being Old MacDonald had a farm and it seems that if I hear it another twenty times that I may also need to be put in a farm!  The Little Scholars have been concentrating more on Birds of a Feather and Sea creatures……………sea creatures are a lot quieter than farm and jungle animals!

We also look forward to starting our new Mummy and Me class within the next week and welcome Morah Orna as their new teacher!

Runaway Inspiration

Yesterday, you were inspired. Today, that is all gone. And so, you are depressed.

But this is the way the system works: Everything begins with inspiration. Then the inspirations steps aside—to make room for you to do something with it.

For fire to become deeds.
